"Four emotions in one day"

It's amazing how one little test can get you so down in the dumps. I thought I would be amazingly happy after I finished, and I was. Until I decided to check the answers over with a friend after (I knew it was a bad idea). While walking home, my thoughts trailed further into the pit of despair about how badly I did (how much percentage I lost, how that would affect my final grade, etc...). It made me so depressed that I didn't want to interact with anyone, I just wanted to curl up into a ball and hide. Or a hug. A hug would've been nice. I like hugs. :3

However what's also amazing is how the little things in life can bring you back from from that pit. Watching a few episodes of drama with a cool drink beside you, talking/joking with that 'someone', looking at pictures of cute animals even XD. Anything to take your mind off the thoughts you just put yourself through. This helps to snap you back to reality, brings you back to your old self.

So what I've learnt today is that just like the crazy weather here, emotions can change just as quickly in one day. The best thing to do is just let it happen and learn from it. Then keep walking forward to what the future brings you.

What I learnt today: Emotions can be just as crazy as the Auckland weather :P
