I feel perhaps it's time to review my studying techniques, as cramming obviously isn't the best way to go in terms of learning all the information now that uni is throwing heaps of content at you per course. I have had a slight epiphany in the recent term. It is that: The later I stay up to finish something due the next day, the worse quality the thing is likely to be. Even if it's quite good quality already, but obviously it could be better. A perfect example of this is when I finished a lab report before 10pm the night before and got full marks for it, compared with finishing a lab report at 5am in the morning on the day it's due, and getting 87% on it (in fact I think I deserved less than that, looking at the individual marks in the marking rubric). But despite this, I continue to stay up late doing reports/assignments/researching/studying. Because it does still seem to work well for me (better than it does for a few others?). That's just the way I like to live my life lol. Although I suppose it would be nice to take up a few of these techniques (some of which I do already) to better my learning abilities.
