Damn, I've been lazy again. But this time I guess I have a proper excuse. The last week before break is always crammed with tests/assignments/reports/presentations. On top of that I always have heaps of stall duty (not that I do anything else with that time XD). There's just not enough time to do other things ie. post. But now that we've reached mid semester, I guess I have a bit of time to relax :) (although I have a test on the first day back and I haven't studied at all, so not really >.<). I WAS very much looking forward to this break, second year has been a lot to deal with >.< and I'm only a quarter of the way through :(.
First day of break, I slept in til 11, which felt pretty good. And I didn't do much for the rest of the day. Then I went to this thing called Apocalypse Z, which is pretty much an interactive theater where you're thrown into a simulated zombie apocalypse and you have to get yourself to safety. It was pretty scary, but less than what I was expecting. I was expecting a lot more running away from zombies, and easier chances of "infection" (not that I wanted to get infected, was trying very hard to escape that). But it was a pretty interesting experience overall, would go again if invited :D.
I must say I wasn't very excited about the fact that it was the break. Probably because:
1) It isn't a very long break to begin with. It's only a week, instead of the two weeks we usually get, due to it not coinciding with the Easter break. I think that's pretty random, changing our term like that.
2) It doesn't feel like much of a break anyways. With a test on the first day back, reports to finish, and exams/assignments to study for, it really is just more of a chance to catch up on all that work I'm behind on.
3) The rainy weather over the last week. And forecasted to be the same for the next week or so. So that really ruins the mood (Ah the woes of suffering from SAD).
Not that I'm really using this time to catch up. Most of the time I just lie on my bed thinking about that mountain of work I have yet to do and getting depressed over it (pretty stupid, I know). Not feeling relaxed and the crappy weather just kinda makes is worse. I didn't really feel the relaxation instinct kick in until I went to hung out with my friends today, it made me remember how much fun it was to just talk about anything and everything without having to worry what they think. Learning from that, I'll just have to try my best to enjoy the time I have and try not to worry too much about everything.
(Oh wow it's 1am already, should probably go to sleep. Have a long day ahead tomorrow~)
What I learnt: Chuunibyou (中二病): Literally middle school second grade syndrome. "People with chuunibyou either act like a know-it-all adult and look down on real ones, or believe they have special powers unlike others."

Downs and ups
Urgh, sick for the first time in I don't remember how long. Feels crappy. At least it's not during uni time >.< or else I'd be dying. Would be especially worse for the coming week since my mum is away for 3-4 days and all those tests and assignments coming up >.<. Hopefully I'll get better by Monday.
Something nice to cheer me up though. Went to the Cosplay club/anisome's maid cafe event today ^^. Was quite fun :D. All those cute maids, and the delicious desserts~ (even though I really shouldn't be eating sweets while I'm sick XD). But the endorphins I got from the event made me feel heaps better :D especially since I've been deprived of sugar for the past couple days :(. Even dressed up and took lotsa photos :3. Incredibly tired after, but worth it~

Chocolate brownie cheese cake and a coffee drink~
What I learnt: Sometimes it's good to go outside, get some fresh air and surround yourself with things you like. It really helps to lift up those down moments :)

More procrastination
Have a look at my wonderful creations~
Making of...
Puffy~
Hot cocoa cookie~
Om nom nom~ :3
What I learnt: You can't really bake cookies in a microwave, it just doesn't work. You know because of the smoke coming out of it after cooking it for a few minutes ._. (was a fun trial though XD)
